Annual Meeting Information

The Montgomery County Retired Employees' Association, Inc., (MCREA) is an association of individuals who have retired from Montgomery County (Maryland) Government or receive the benefits of its retirement plan.

Founded in 1977, MCREA was established as a non-profit organization, IRC 501 (c)(4), to represent the issues and concerns of Montgomery County Government retirees.

New CareFirst Member ID Cards for CATASTROPHIC policy holders

New CareFirst Member ID Cards for CATASTROPHIC policy holders ONLY has been sent out by CareFirst for the first time. This card is for the CATASTROPHIC health policy only and NOT your regular health insurance plan. Card looks identical to your regular health insurance card.  Direct any questions to the “Member Service” telephone number on the back of the new card.

Important for people turning 65 years old

Who – Social Security Administration (SSA) representatives will be conducting seminars for retirees and employees.

What – Information will be provided about Social Security, Medicare, and the SSA’s online services. Questions will be answered. 

When All 2018 seminars will held from 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Tuesday, November 13, 2018

Where – Executive Office Building Lobby Level Conference Room.

Parking is available in the COB Parking Garage. Retirees will be provided with a Parking Authorization form at the end of the seminar to validate free parking.
